3rd Ballymena West Church Squirrels

Do you have a 4-6 year old boy who likes to have fun, play games and make things? Then he should come along to Squirrels on a Friday night from 6.30pm—7.30pm in the Minor Hall. Here he will make new friends and play in a safe and caring environment. Squirrels is a junior organisation that leads to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

3rd Ballymena Beaver Scouts

BeaversBeaver scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old. Beavers meet each Friday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30 pm and enjoy a balanced programme complying with our motto “fun and friends”. Our motto and the Beaver Scout promise underpin everything that we do.

Each year the Beavers meet members of other colonies at District events such as 5-a-side football, 10 pin bowling and the Christmas party. Within our own colony we welcome visitors from other organisations and the opportunity to learn from them. We visit sites such as the fire station and police station which are as interesting for the leaders as the children themselves. But perhaps most important of all we have fun!

The Beaver Scout colony in West Church maintains a membership of approximately 24 young people who are easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise blue sweatshirts and smiling faces.
